Auchencairn Thursday Club held its annual Burn's Lunch at The Old Smuggler's Inn on Saturday 21st January 2012. It was a full house that received the Haggis, which was stridently addressed by John Caskie and toasted by all present. The traditional "neeps and tatties" were the accompaniment to the Haggis as piper Ewan McTaggert played a selection of Highland tunes. John Caskie then displayed his knowledge of Burns with stories and songs about "The Bard".
