Roy Wilson and Ray Innes have renovated the fountain. The top was removed to Rays workshop (where it was originally created) and in addition to being cleaned and painted had a new fixing mechanism fitted that will make future maintainance more manageable. Meantime the pair stripped the main part back to sound metal and repainted it in graded colours from dark green at the base to white at the top.
