"Since moving to just outside Auchencairn in the South West of Scotland I have found it totally impossible not to put paintbrush to canvas and try in my own way to reflect the ever-changing skies and the total emptiness of the beaches and sea that I witness on a daily basis.

My chosen medium of oil on canvas, enables me to paint in an organically natural way, building, moulding and changing my subject as the atmosphere around me alters; therefore allowing me not only to create an image of what I see, but also to capture the moments in time that brought it about.

Working from the studio in my croft I now spend my time painting, recording my own music, working on my websites and sourcing new venues for exhibitions, all of which I find incredibly satisfying".
