NEW TABLES FOR THE MURRAY HALL PDF Print E-mail
GALLOWAY PROJECT 2008 AWARDS.  

COUNTRY MARKET RAISES OVER £1500.

AUCHENCAIRN COUNTRY MARKET PROJECT has after 17 events and with help from the John Scott Trust Fund purchased 14 new tables for the community hall.
In addition the main store has been with fitted rubber mat flooring and appropriate hazard marking at a further £80 cost.

NSA HEDGE LAYING AT TORR PDF Print E-mail

On 2nd November 2008 Ian Brown and Alastair Ross from NSA revived the old art of hedge laying at Torr Farm and created a new wildlife habitat at the same time as an attractive and secure hedgerow.

NSA VOLUNTEERS CLEAR FOOTPATHS PDF Print E-mail
On 2nd October 08 a small team of volunteers from the NSA spent a hard day clearing some of the vegetation from the footpath on Torr Point leading Orchardton Bay. They were Ian Brown (Ranger), Magnus Ramsey, Lynn Warwick, Margaret Mullet and Sally Hincliffe.
