Our cosy establishment dating from the 17th century is located in a picturesque village on the Solway coast. The public bar has a possibly unique feature, in that the bar counter is constructed from a rowing boat, that used to work in nearby Balcary Bay. It also features an open fire to relax by on winter nights and a separate lounge and bar area.
Behind the pub is a large secluded beer garden that is bordered on one side by the Auchencairn Burn.  Lounge Bar  Pool table in Public Bar OPENING TIMES check with pub.
