We are a gentle 1 mile walk from Rascarrel Bay on the Solway Firth in a coastal area of outstanding beauty. | If you are keen on doing some outdoor activities, the area offers a range of options. |  |  | Stunning hill and coastal walks to meet all abilities, a wide choice of golf courses, sea fishing or learning about the daily routines on our working farm will keep you entertained. |
If you want a more leisurely time then within a 10 mile radius, along quiet and picturesque roads there are 3 towns, Castle Douglas (Food Town), Kirkcudbright (Artist's Town) & Dalbeattie (The Granite Town) offering a range of fresh local products from traditional shops. Always nearby are historic sites, castles, harbours and beaches.
Facilities at Farhills Farm:
Bedrooms have recently been redecorated and furnished to a high standard. Double beds. Ample storage. Rooms have tea & coffee making facilities, TV and hairdryers available. Shared bathroom is furnished to a high standard with both bath and shower facilities. All rooms are non-smoking. A traditional cooked Scottish or continental breakfast is included. Ample parking for vehicles and storage for bikes/sports equipment. Laundry facilities and internet access available upon request. | |
