BURNS LUNCH 2010 was held in the Murray Hall on 23rd January. President Norman Osborne welcomed guest speaker Robin Wallace, Haggis Bearer David Donohoe, Piper Blair Wallace and Chef Jade Norcross who all contributed to a great afternoon of food, frolics, verse. music and dancing.

48 MEMBERS BUT LOTS OF ROOM FOR MORE. AUCHENCAIRN THURSDAY CLUB IS A SOCIAL CLUB FOR ADULTS MEMBERS. IT’S A GREAT PLACE TO MEET OLD FRIENDS AND TO MAKE NEW ONES. OUR ACTIVITIES ARE EXPANDING AND INCLUDE A QUIZ DAY, CHRISTMAS PARTY, BURNS LUNCH, MUSIC AND OUTINGS TO PLACES OF INTEREST. GOT ANY IDEAS?
WHY NOT VISIT FOR FREE AND IF YOU DECIDE TO COME BACK AGAIN AND JOIN US, THEN THE SEASON’S FEE IS ONLY £5.00.

Planned events include a beetle drive, Christmas Party, Burns Lunch. Art Demonstration, Line Dancing and Quiz.

The Thursday Club is operating under a new Constitution and therefore has opened its doors to anyone who would benefit from or provide a benefit to this social activity and support group. We meet on the third Thursday of each month in the Murray Hall and enjoy activities ranging through presentations, music, games, refreshments, and outings to places of interest and for meals.
