   On Balcary Bay 2 miles from Auchencairn village, 8 miles from Castle Douglas, 8 miles from Dalbeattie, 9 miles from Kirkcudbright. Coastal. Only 50 yards from the sea and with sea views. A lovely rural location but conveniently situated with a hotel nearby and a pub, Post Office and shop in Auchencairn village. Access to many of the walks featured on this web-site, including the coastal paths start nearby.
