Arranged by Dumfries and Galloway Council, these highly recommended
walks are designed to encourage care and enthusiasm for all aspects of
wildlife and interest in local history. They are very informal and
range from short walks aimed at children to longer hikes. A nominal
fee is charged for some walks but most are free. There are too many to
list here and they cover the entire D&G area but a free leaflet
with all the details is available from local librarys or tourist
information centres.
